Clean Water

Our goal is to be a drop of water for barren hearts. May you too have a water well in Uganda. We invite you to be a source of water for barren hearts and a remedy for the cries of mothers. Blessed are those who can be a raindrop for hearts. Blessed are those who can be a drop of water for barren souls. How fortunate are those who volunteer for Sanyu Water Wells!

Millions of people around the world lack access to clean water. Thousands die from diseases caused by contaminated water and unsanitary conditions. As the Sanyu Charity Foundation, within the scope of our permanent projects, we are bringing relief to the hearts of our brothers and sisters in Uganda, especially in drought-prone and underserved communities yearning for clean and safe drinking water through our Water Well Project.

The aim and benefits of the project:

In Uganda, where many communities are forced to survive in water-scarce regions, the Sanyu Charity Foundation Water Well Project provides access to safe and healthy water while preventing diseases caused by unsafe water sources. The project also enriches community living spaces, fostering a culture of solidarity, dignity, and shared responsibility. Furthermore, reducing conflicts and hardships that arise due to water scarcity is among the expected benefits of the project.

Project implementation process and duration:

In Uganda, the construction period for water well projects varies between 3 weeks to 1 month depending on location, terrain, and accessibility. Projects are regularly monitored by our field teams from the start and throughout their duration to ensure quality and sustainability.
