Every day, children in Uganda leave their homes carrying empty containers, walking long distances under the hot sun in search of water. When they finally find it, the water is often dirty, unsafe, and filled with diseases that threaten their health and future. A mother should not have to choose between her child’s thirst and their safety. A child should not have to miss school just to fetch water. Yet for thousands of families, this is their daily reality. This Dhul Hijjah, you can change that. By helping Sanyu Charity Foundation build 10 water wells, you can bring clean water, better health, dignity, and hope to entire communities. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.” (Ahmad) Every drop of clean water you provide can become a source of ongoing reward (Sadaqah Jariyah) for years to come. For a hungry orphan, a hot meal means more than food—it means strength, dignity, comfort, and the chance to dream again. Every day, thousands of children in Uganda face hunger. For many orphans, the next meal is never guaranteed. A hungry child struggles to learn, grow, and dream. Empty stomachs make it difficult to focus in class, play with friends, or look forward to tomorrow. Yet something as simple as a warm meal can restore strength, dignity, and hope. Through Sanyu Charity Foundation’s Kitchen for Orphans Program, we provide freshly prepared meals to vulnerable children who often have nowhere else to turn.
